Our Commitment

At JDF Soccer, the safety, well-being, and development of every player are our highest priorities. We are committed to creating a positive, respectful, and secure environment where young athletes can learn, grow, and thrive—both on and off the field.

Safe Environment

Our Safety Framework

Our Youth Safety & Protection framework follows nationally recognized standards established by U.S. Soccer, SafeSport, and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Zero-tolerance toward any form of abuse, bullying, harassment, or misconduct.

SafeSport Compliance

All partner coaches and volunteers must complete U.S. Center for SafeSport training.

Background Checks

Every coach, volunteer, and staff member undergoes annual criminal background checks.

Player Safeguards

At least two adults present at all team activities; no one-on-one adult-child situations.

Partner Requirements

Each partner organization and its coaching staff must provide documentation verifying:

  • Background Checks: Annual Texas and national screening
  • SafeSport Certification: Current U.S. Center for SafeSport training (renewed annually)
  • Concussion Awareness: CDC Heads Up training
  • CPR/First Aid: At least one certified staff per session
  • Youth Conduct Agreement: Signed code of conduct
  • Incident Reporting: 24-hour reporting protocol

Code of Conduct

All staff, partners, and volunteers are expected to:

  • Model respect, integrity, and sportsmanship
  • Maintain clear professional boundaries
  • Use positive, age-appropriate communication
  • Avoid any behavior that could be interpreted as harassment, favoritism, or intimidation
  • Uphold JDF Soccer's values in every interaction
