About the Program
The CORE Player Scholarship Program helps families in The Woodlands and surrounding communities participate in year-round training programs that emphasize player growth, teamwork, and community engagement.
The program is designed not only to support players with demonstrated financial need, but also to make local participation more affordable and sustainable for families who might otherwise be limited by increasing registration or field costs.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Residency in The Woodlands or surrounding areas (preferred but not required)
- Demonstrated financial need (proof of income required)
- Good academic standing
- Commitment to attend practices, games, and training
- Positive conduct and sportsmanship
Application Deadlines
Rolling applications are subject to availability.

- League Participation costs
- Educational/Training Classes by JDF or partner organizations
Scholarships may be partial or full, based on available funds and applicant need.
Important Notice
JDF Soccer is a Texas-based nonprofit organization supporting youth soccer in The Woodlands and surrounding communities. Scholarships are funded through restricted donations and sponsorships and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis as funds allow. Awards are made without regard to race, color, gender, religion, or national origin.
